5/28/19 – This is an original WWII era Luftwaffe gravity knife made by SMF. The blade is maker stamped on one side, and very clean with no signs of sharpening. Very nice wood handle and a 3 digit serial numbered lever. The helmet pick extension is luftwaffe eagle/5 stamped at the base. Comes with a lanyard (as shown) which we doubt is original, but it’s “38” numbered (possibly a date) on one of the metal closure loops. See photos.
