12/5/23 – This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe Gravity Knife by Paul Weyersberg. This example is in excellent overall condition with a smooth action and clean blade. The blade is maker marked on one side with some mild surface scratches on both sides. Visible cross-graining throughout. The edge shows signs of clean / professional sharpening. The mouth of the handle has scuffs and scratches but these are mild. Release lever is smooth and functional. Matching numbered on the side plate and lever, “2”. The wood handle has a few light bruises but no cracks or chips. The pick piece is smooth functioning and Luftwaffe proof stamped on the base.
