1/5/22 – This is an original Luftwaffe Gravity knife. The knife is maker stamped by Rostfrei on the blade. The blade is generally in great condition with some light signs of sharpening along the edge as well as surface scratches from previous use. The blade falls out and returns without issue, but when “closed”, the blade does still stick out very slightly (only the tip). This is likely related to the damage on the right side of the knife, just under the release lever. The knife is still functional however. The helmet pick is Luftwaffe stamped at the base with an eagle/5. There is some mild cosmetic wear but no major rust or pitting.
