4/6/23 – This is an original, later WW2 production Luftwaffe Dagger. The dagger comes with a detached portepee knot and an original hanger. The blade is shiny with a late style Ernst Pack & Sohne maker mark at the base of the blade. There’s some mild surface speckling and light scabbard wear but no major issues. The hand guard and pommel show surface patina and discoloration throughout. The grip has no cracks or chips, but the silver wrapped chord is slightly loose and there are spots of dark discoloration on the beige handle. The scabbard has dark patina throughout and some beginning signs of rust, but no dents. The hanger is in good condition with some corrosion on the back of the belt clip. RZM maker stamped as shown with a nice oak leaf pattern engraving on the clips.
