10/10/23 – This is an original WW2 German Luftwaffe uniform belt & buckle. The buckle is aluminum and in great condition with light patina throughout and some rub wear around the high-points (like the eagle face and breast). The interior facing side of the buckle is maker stamped “C.T.D.”. The leather tab attached to the buckle is 1939 dated and maker stamped as well. The leather belt is in great condition, but the leather size-adjustment tab is resewn to the main body of leather. The rest of the stitching throughout is original. The leather is size marked “85” on one end, and the closure-hooked end is both maker stamped and dated. The maker is “Gebruder & Sparfeld” with a 1939 date underneath. A very nice, well marked example.
