4/15/22 – This is an original WW2 German Lion’s Head Officer’s Sword. The sword blade is in great condition with no rust, pitting, or sharpening. There’s some light surface oxidation throughout, but this is normal aging wear. No maker markings or stamps on the blade. The hand guard and pommel have a fair amount of gold finish loss, and there’s surface patina / edge wear throughout. There is some light brown residue on the Lion’s head, but this can be removed if desired. The lion’s head has ruby eyes intact. Comes with an original scabbard. The scabbard has surface rust and finish loss throughout, but no dents or major issues.
