6/15/23 – This is an original black leather AKAH Walther PPK holster from WW2. The holster is desirable due to the uncommon “leading edge” style, as well as having black leather and stitching (often found with SS examples). The closure knob has remnants of black paint as well, as this was likely painted black during production. There’s a faint AKAH “D.R.G.M.” stamp under the closure strap, and the interior leather has an original Walther PPK ink stamp. There’s another small circular ink stamp on the interior leather that we’re not sure the significance of. The leather has mild surface wrinkling throughout and normal aging wear, but no excessive damage. All original stitching is intact.
