10/10/23 – This is a very nice example of a late-war Inland Paratrooper M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1945. The receiver dates to 1945 and the barrel is Inland marked and dated February of 1945. This is the late-war variant which correctly has a bayonet lug and adjustable rear sight. It has retained nearly all of its finish with just some minor thinning and oxidation on the top of the bolt. Very light scuffs here and there along the barrel. Excellent wood stock that is marked “RI” on the bottom of the grip, but there is a minor gouge on the bottom of pistol grip. The color of the handguard and stock do not match, so they were likely paired later. Mint bore. Comes with a green canvas sling and one magazine.
