2/28/22 – This is a very nice example of a “last-ditch” Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military at the very end of WW2. The gun is all matching except for the side rail on the bolt. Unfortunately, the original Imperial mum stamp on the receiver has been ground. Comes with an original cleaning rod. Overall, there is very little actual finish loss. However, there is light brown patina and spotty oxidation covering all of the metal parts. The stock is very nice with only minor dings and scratches here and there. The bore is stone-mint.
