5/31/22 – This is an original US M1917 trench fighting knife from WW1. The knife features a blued spike blade that’s in excellent condition with most of the original finish in tact. No notable areas of rust or pitting, nor any notable flaws along the edges of the blade. The hand guard is maker stamped and dated, and has some light surface patina and spotty discoloration throughout the original blued finish. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. Comes with an original scabbard maker stamped by Jewell.
