6/16/22 – This is an original WW2 German criminal police Kripo badge. Also known as a warrant disc, as these were used similarly to a police warrant today. These badges authorized German police to search and inspect premises and people. This example has a yellow-gold color, likely due to a prior chemical wash of some kind. There is some mild patina throughout and typical signs of aging but no major issues. The disc is completely non-magnetic. Measures 2 inches long and just under 1.5 inches wide.
