8/14/20 – This is an original “untersee bootsschule” or Kriegsmarine U Boat school cap from WW2. The cap is in excellent condition and still has the original black ribbons attached to the back. This cap would have been awarded / worn by cadets attending training for service on a U-Boat. The wool has no moth-holes and no notable issues. Some minor staining / fading and signs of aging on the front-brim where the writing is located. The interior is very clean with some minor leather wrinkling on the interior brim, but the leather is supple and completely in tact. Original labels still in tact as well.
