10/16/23 – This is an original WW2 production Junghans model 29A stopwatch. The watch is engraved on the backside with a German Navy Eagle with an “M” underneath for Kriegsmarine. The watch is clean and complete internally, and in great overall condition. The watch doesn’t currently function properly, but would likely be functional after a proper cleaning and tuning. The exterior shows some yellowing from age and scuffing on the front display glass. The winding function and reset button is smooth and seems to work, but the hands fall past the 3 second mark. For now makes an excellent display piece. These were used for torpedo timing and other military functions on German Naval ships.
