11/2/20 – This is a Mauser Model 1934 issued to the Nazi Kriegsmarine in 1934. About 23,000 Mauser 1934’s were procured and marked by the Nazi Navy from 1935 to 1941. This particular example is of the fourth variation, characterized by the Kriegsmarine marking on the right side of the frame and without a property number on the front strap. It is crown U proofed and all matching. It is in excellent condition, retaining about 95% of its original finish. There is minor muzzle wear, small spots of wear on the right side of the slide, and an area of wear on the front strap. The grip is original and excellent. The bore is excellent – shiny with strong rifling. NOTE: The listing comes with only ONE magazine, which is marked with Mauser banner on the bottom but no naval markings.
