3/14/22 – This is an original WW2 German Crete uniform cuff title. These were awarded to soldiers who were participated in Germany’s Balkan campaign. About 22,000 paratroopers and mountain troops invaded the island of Crete in 1941. About 28,000 people received this award. The cuff title measures about 16.5 inches long and about 1.25 inches wide. There is some mild aging throughout and some fraying to the right of the text, as well as mild separation at the top edging above the “ET” in KRETA. See photos.
