8/20/20 – This is an original K98 dress / parade bayonet from WW2. The bayonet is actually more like a dagger, with no way of attaching to a rifle. These were used as part of the many nazi “dress” style uniforms. The blade is excellent and shiny with minimal scabbard wear. There’s some oxidation and finish loss on the pommel / handle. Leather stopper still in tact. The scabbard has some light surface scratching and finish loss as well, but nothing excessive. Comes with a minty, 1941 dated leather frog.
