6/5/24 – This is an original WW2 German K98 Dress / Parade Bayonet. The bayonet comes with an original black painted scabbard and a leather unmarked frog. The bayonet blade has a shiny nickel finish and measures about 25cm long. The blade has minimal surface wear, mostly consisting of scabbard rub wear and micro-scratching. Unsharpened edge and no discoloration. The overall length measures about 37cm. The original leather stopper is still intact. Mild patina on the hand guard and pommel. The grips have a strong diamond pattern. The scabbard is unmarked and excellent condition. The leather frog could be reproduction as the style is unfamiliar to us, although there are signs of aging, the frog is in excellent overall condition.
