5/15/24 – This is an original K98 Dress / Parade bayonet from WW2. The bayonet measures 37.5 cm long with a 25cm long blade. The blade has a shiny dress-style finish with a few light spots of surface oxidation but these are small and few. The edge is clean and overall the blade is excellent. Maker stamped on one side, as shown. The original leather stopper is still intact. Natural patina and age on the hand guard and bird’s head pommel. The black grips are in great shape with a diamond pattern. Comes with an original black painted scabbard that retains most of the original finish. No dents or notable flaws. The attached leather frog is unmarked and excellent.
