5/26/23 – This is an original late WW2 production P.38 magazine by JVD. JVD was a metal company subcontracted to make pistol magazines for helping the German war effort during WW2. This example is late-war due to the “P.38 U” stamp on the right side of the tube. The left side of the tube is also P.38 stamped, along with a JVD maker stamp and waffen proof stamp. Excellent finish throughout the tube, but there’s some mild surface patina and discoloration on the base. The spring is strong and fully functional.
