1/19/23 – This is an original late WW2 production P.38 magazine. The magazine is stamped “P.38 U” on the left side of the tube, which is an end-of-war production feature where they skipped the metal hardening process. The spine of the magazine is waffen proof stamped WaA706 with a “JVD” maker stamp (subcontractor during WW2). The magazine has dark surface patina and mild finish loss throughout, but there’s no rust or pitting. The spring is strong and fully functional.
