10/5/23 – This is an original WW2 production Japanese T30 bayonet. The bayonet is cited in Labar’s book as LB-155A, Variation E. The bayonet features a bright, fullered blade, hooked cross guard, contoured wood grips with 2 rivets, and birds head pommel. Also comes with a very nice ball-tipped scabbard and minty leather frog. The blade has minimal surface wear. A majority of the original bluing is still present throughout the scabbard, quillion, and pommel. No major issues or notable flaws. The leather frog could be a high-quality reproduction, and have reduced the price accordingly.
