10/1/24 – This is an original WW2 T90 Japanese Army Combat Helmet. The helmet is complete with original field paint, leather liner, and cloth weave chinstrap. The helmet shell has no dents or major issues, and retains most of the original paint with natural spotty patina and age wear. Near excellent overall condition. The exterior features a steel Japanese star emblem affixed to the front. The interior leather liner is in great condition with all original stitching intact throughout the liner pads, and all three original lanyard attachment rings intact. There is some mild tattering at the base of the liner leather. No visible kanji markings, but based on the size we assume this is a “small”. The kanji marks have likely faded out of the leather with age, which is normal. Interior liner pads are intact. Nice original chinstrap has minimal staining and is in great condition. Overall a great condition, all original example.
