8/31/21 – This is an original WW2 era Japanese NCO Sword. The sword has a metal handle with mild edge wear / paint loss throughout. The blade is in great condition and clean throughout. Both the blade and the scabbard are numbered “89549”. The scabbard has no dents or major issues, but there is some paint loss and patina throughout – mostly near the toe of the scabbard. A nice, all original piece.
