1/19/22 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 44 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. This one has the original bayonet and has a fully intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. The gun is matching, except for the bolt. However, all of the parts of the bolt match each other. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There is some light scratchy wear around the muzzle, bayonet lug, and rear barrel band, areas of very minor pin-pricking on the receiver, and some areas of light freckling around the muzzle, on the barrel lug, floor plate, and trigger guard. The stock has noticeable dings, dents, and scratches throughout. There is a crack on the top edge of the butt stock. Mint bore.
