1/12/23 – This is an original WW2 SA Dagger made by J.P. Sauer & Sohn. The dagger is in great overall condition and comes with an early style anodized scabbard. The dagger blade is excellent with very nice cross graining visible on each side and strong, crisp markings. There’s some mild surface wear from the scabbard and mild areas of surface oxidation and dark discoloration but no major issues. The hand guard and pommel are both early nickel and in great shape with typical surface patina. The wood grip has a nice grained wood look, but there are a few minor chips and imperfections near the SA emblem in the wood. There’s also a few small notches along the side of the grip that appear intentionally placed. The scabbard has some surface wear and discoloration, as well as a small dent in the toe as shown.
