4/26/21 – This is an excellent example of a WW2 Model 1911A1. The slide was made by Ithaca and the frame was made by Remington Rand in late 1943. The frame has the proper military cross-canon cartouche. High Standard barrel. The gun has retained about 95% of its finish. The slide is parkerized and the frame is blued. There is minor thinning on the straps and minor wear on some of the high edges. Comes with excellent grips and a magazine marked “Colt Auto 45”. Excellent bore – shiny with strong rifling.
