12/5/23 – This is a great example of an Italian Carcano Moschetto Carbine used by the Italian army in WW2. This model is an update to the original M91 Moschetto which was shorted M91 Carcanos. These examples, known in the US as M91/38, were M38 Carcanos fitted with the Moschetto hardware. This example is very clean and shows minimal wear. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the barrel and stock. There are no other numbers stamped. The bluing on the rifle is very nice and has minimal finish loss. The stock is equally in good condition but has some marks on the right side. The bore is bright but becomes frosted towards the muzzle. Comes with a leather sling.
