5/10/22 – This is an original Iraqi Fedayeen helmet from Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. These helmets were worn by Sadam Hussein’s personal body guards, and were designed by his son who was a huge Star Wars fan. Hence the “storm trooper” style. The helmet is in great condition and features the original rubber side stamp still in tact. Similar to the Japanese mum, the Iraqi’s found it dishonorable to allow their country stamp to be taken, so these are seldom found with the stamp still attached. This example also still has the original liner and chin strap attached. Great overall condition.
