8/24/23 – This is a very interesting Walther PP. The serial number on the frame dates it to the very end of the war, in 1945. The slide has no markings or serial number, and there is no clear evidence that it has been buffed or markings removed. So, it is likely it never had markings in the first place. Likely a leftover part when the GI’s took over the factory in 1945. The safety, trigger, and extractor have no finish. The rest of the gun has been re-blued, and there is very little finish loss. There is cracking along the edges of the left grip panel and a blemish on the right. Comes with a rare “W” marked end-of-war magazine. Minty bore.
