7/25/24 – This is a nice example of a Type I Inland M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine from 1942. A detailed parts list with markings is included in the photos. This one appears to be fitted with a high quality reproduction metal wire stock, metal butt plate, and leather cheek pad, and wood stock. Comes with a proper canvas sling and one magazine. The metal parts have retained roughly 75% of their finish. The majority of the finish loss is along the barrel, where there is also some spotty surface rust. The wood furniture is excellent. Excellent, shiny bore. Comes with a 1944-dated canvas muzzle cover.
