3/5/20 – This is a very rare and incredible find: a factory engraved Walther PP that was made during the first year of production. It is a floral engraved example with factory nickel finish, which shows minimal wear and no flaking. The pistol has early features such as the “X-backed” grips, 90 degree safety, extended barrel and heavy hammer. It also has an unfinished magazine with early open follower. There’s no Crown/N proof in the ejection port, which also occurred on early guns, but there is one on the barrel. The floral engraving work is beautiful, especially along the rounded edges of the slide. A nearly one of a kind find!
