2/13/24 – This is an awesome MG 34 that was built by TNW with partial use of an original parts kit from World War II. The receiver ‘dot’ maker coded, meaning it was made at the Waffen-Werke Brunn AG factory. The receiver is dated to 1945, and interestingly, features two Hebrew markings that would indicate the receiver went to Israel. This listing has it all, including: a custom transit box, drum mag, drum mag carrier with two spares, anti-aircraft tripod with adaptor to fit the rifle, orignial Africa Corps ammo can (empty), two full spare ammo cans with belts, a sling, postwar AA sight, original spare barrel carrier with spare barrel inside, and a Yugo armorer’s tool box. Mostly mismatched numbers throughout, but the bluing is excellent and the build work is, as well. Smooth mechanics all around. The bore has strong rifling but oxidation throughout. Consignor test fired this gun lightly and says it ran without issue.
