6/17/22 – This is an original WW1 German Officer’s Sword. The sword features a triple etched / engraved blade, and a lion’s head pommel with ruby eyes. The blade has very faint etching on each side as well as the spine. There’s surface patina and discoloration throughout the blade as well as signs of aging and a few small areas of pitting. The edge is unsharpened. The hilt and handle have surface patina throughout but no major issues. The scabbard has some missing paint and rust colored spotty discoloration throughout. No dents.
