7/27/22 – This is an original WW1 German Hebel M1894 Flare pistol. The pistol is in good overall condition with some honest wear and patina throughout. There’s dark oxidation and discoloration as well as natural patina throughout the metal surfaces. The wood grip is original and in great shape with no notable cracks or chips. Fully functional with smooth action. The bore is not rifled, but has some mild patina and some pitting into the metal. This doesn’t appear to go too deep however, and the pistol should function without issue. The right side of the pistol has imperial proof stamps as shown.
