2/2/24 – This is a great and original condition Hungarian M44 Mosin Nagant carbine. A fair amount of the bluing finish has worn off the barrel, receiver parts, and mag well. There is also edge wear on the muzzle; we rate the finish at 60%. The bore has light pitting mainly towards the muzzle end but has very strong rifling; we rate the bore 8.5/10. there is a fair bit of handling wear near the end of the stock; however, there are no cracks or splits in the forend or stock. Action is very smooth and works as it should. All parts on this rifle are mismatched, and there is an import mark on the left side of the front of the barrel.
