1/6/23 – This is a pair of 10×50 German “Panzer Glass” binoculars. These are known as Panzer Glass because of their known use by Panzer divisions. This example is in excellent condition with tan “desert” paint. The adjustment and focusing knobs are fully functional and the optics are excellent. The underside of the adjustment arch is maker stamped “bmj” for Hensoldt Wetzlar. They’re also stamped D.F. 10×50. Interestingly, there’s a lot number tag “1877” attached to these, that we believe are the original German tag. The leather lanyard is also still attached and in great condition. The binoculars come in an original leather case that has two lens covers included inside the lid.
