4/19/23 – This is an excellent, original pair of WW2 German 10×50 Hensoldt & Sohne binoculars, often referred to as “panzer glass” by collectors for their known use with armored Panzer divisions. The binoculars have tan “desert” paint that has some mild signs of aging and light edge wear, but no major issues. The adjustment knobs are smooth and fully functional. The optics are excellent and crisp. The exterior of the binoculars are stamped with a + sign, maker stamped “bmj” for Hensoldt & Sohne, as well as “D.F. 10×50”. The binoculars have an original leather shoulder strap attached and in great shape. The binoculars come with an original black leather case that’s dated 1942 on the front closure strap. Excellent condition with an original leather carry strap and strong leather and stitching throughout. Some writing on the interior lid as shown.
