11/23/21 – This is a nice example of an M1 Garand as produced by Harrington & Richardson in 1955. H&R parts throughout including the ‘HRC’ marked stock and H&R barrel which is dated to August of 1954. The finish on the rifle is original and shows some thinning on the barrel/gas tube but in good condition overall. Bore is shiny with strong rifling, muzzle reading of 3 and throat is a 1-2. Stock is MRM marked on the right side, indicating it went to Mount Rainier. It has various dings and shows some age but no major defects. Stock also features a cool rack number on a brass plate affixed to the top.
