10/4/22 – This is a gorgeous example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is “United States Property” marked, has the proper cross-canon military cartouche, and has the proper “GHD” inspector initials. The slide is numbered and matching, and the gun comes with a proper “large G” marked Colt barrel. The gun itself has retained virtually all of its original finish with one light streak of wear on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct reddish plastic grips and one “S” marked magazine. The bore is mint.
