10/22/20 – This is a 1943 dated German made flare pistol with scarce red grips. The grips are dated on the inside. The flare pistol operates correctly and is maker stamped duv for Berliner-Luebecker Maschinenfabrik, Luebeck plant. The Eagle 214 stamp is present on the side of the frame. Original lanyard ring at grip bottom. The barrel serial number appears to be different from the frame, however the finish is consistent throughout both barrel and frame. The flare pistol comes with an inert German WWII flare cartridge dated 1940. Overall excellent condition.
