7/7/24 – This is an original WW2 German Infantry Assault Badge. The badge is made from silvered zinc, and shows natural surface patina leaving a dark grey finish with excellent details. The reverse has the original hook, pin, and hinge with some natural surface wear and a small bend or dent in the pin. This doesn’t affect functionality. Under the hinge is a maker initial “W.H.” for Wilhelm Hobacher. Measures about 6cm tall and 4.5cm wide.
