4/21/24 – This is and original Gebr. (Brothers) Heller K98 Bayonet with a leather scabbard and frog. The bayonet has an excellent unsharpened blade that has some very minor scabbard wear. The blade is maker marked Gebr. Heller on one side and “3629i” on the other. Excellent original grips. The handguard has some honest wear with some pin pricking. The pommel has some oxidation throughout with two eagle 37 proof marks on the top and one on the release button. The Leather scabbard has some surface cracking throughout and is completely unmarked. The leather frog is in good condition with average pliability but no closure strap.
