11/4/24 – This is a G Date Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1935. All matching with the proper “Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a 1942-dated holster, one “black widow” magazine, and a WWI-era wood bottom magazine (the wood base is chipped). This gun was captured by a Private Donald W. Timm. The listing includes three original documents – the capture docs and a Customs Declaration form. One of the capture docs lists this gun by serial number. The gun’s original finish rates roughly 85%. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps where there is also light spotty patina. There is also muzzle wear and wear on the high edges. Some tiny pits here and there. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore shows minor pitting throughout.
