3/17/22 – This is a nice example of a “G Date” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1935. The gun is all matching and has the proper G Date military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there are also some tiny dots of brown patina. There are also areas of wear on the side plate, side rails, around the muzzle, and on the left side of the barrel. Some light scratchy wear on the left side of the frame. Small dots of discoloration here and there along the barrel. Comes with slightly-worn matching-numbered wood grips – small chip in the top corner of the left panel. Also comes with a rare G Date magazine that does not match the gun. The bore is near-mint.
