3/30/23 – This is a very nice example of a “G Date” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1935. It is all matching and has the proper “Droop Wing Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The majority of wear is on the grip straps. The profile views are excellent, with most of the wear showing along the right side rail, at the front edge of the left side rail, and on the left side plate. There is also a bit of wear on the high edges/around the muzzle, and a couple light scratches on the side plate. Straw parts also show some fading. Bore has good rifling, but does have minor pin-pricking throughout. Comes with excellent un-numbered wood grips, and a correct and numbered, but mismatched, “Eagle 63” marked magazine.
