4/20/23 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2. This one was imported by Interarms and has an import mark on the underside of the slide. The gun is all matching, has a French star on the right side of the slide, and has one “Waffen 135” Nazi military acceptance proof on the barrel. It has retained about 92% of its finish with very minor thinning on the front strap and light, somewhat scratchy wear along the right side of the slide. Fitted with nice black plastic grips – light scuffs and handling marks on both sides. Comes with a waffen-proofed jvd magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is light freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
