12/4/23 – This is a clean example of a French R35 made in 1939 for the French Army before WW2. The R35s were produced as shortened Lebel 1886 as rear-echelon rifles. The rifle retains majority of its original finish but the wood furniture looks to have been lightly sanded. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the barrel, stock, and handguard. The bolt and floor plate have different serial numbers but match themselves. The bore is very bright with great rifling. The stacking rod is slightly bent. Comes with one MAS36 style leather sling.
