7/20/23 – This is an example the 5-shot infantry length variant of the Berthier line of rifles from WW1. The stock has been lightly sanded, and has minor dings throughout. The bluing is clean throughout, with some edge wear on parts, and there is heavy rusting on the buttplate. The rifle is not matching numbers. The bore has strong rifling but is frosted and needs a thorough cleaning.
