9/30/24 – This is a nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1937. All matching with the proper “Eagle 63” military proofs. This is a first variation example with straw-colored small parts. It comes as a rig with one matching-numbered magazine, one “Stick Wing Eagle 63” tool, and a second variation 1937-dated holster (stick wing Eagle on the back). It appears the holster had some sort of embellishment or pin on the top flap which has since been removed. The gun’s original finish rates about 95%. While there is very little actual finish, there are areas of tiny pitting around the muzzle, on the right side rail, and on the front strap. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips that are “S/42” marked, standing for armorers replacement. Very nice bore.
