03/04/2024 – For sale is a clean M39 used by the Finnish Civil Guard during the Continuation War. This rifle denotes the property of the Finnish Civil Guard (originally anti-communist Finnish Militia) with the SK.Y stamp on the barrel shank. This rifle has matching serial numbers on the barrel shank, receiver, and bolt. The magazine floor is mismatched. The finish on the metal is worn away to bare metal and has not undergone post-war Finnish refurbishment. There are pockets of grease on the rifle from storage. The stock is clean of cracks and sits in a wartime spliced stock. The bore is dull when shining a light but has good rifling. The rifle comes with a Post WW2 Soviet Mosin sling.
